Welcome to Halal Home Cooking – Algerian, British & World Food Recipe Blog
What is Halal?
Halal (Arabic: حلال ḥalāl, ‘permissible’), also spelled hallal or halaal is any object or an action (in this case food) which is permissible to use or engage in, according to Islamic law.
Here on Halal Home Cooking it’s all about comfort food recipes made by me and hopefully by you!
I’m often championing the one pot meal in the form of Tagines (stews), soups, curries etc. When I’m not doing that, I like to bake up a storm of anything from British Scones, French Pastries to Middle Eastern Halwa and all things Lemon – flavoured.
When I’m not cooking or blogging I’m busy being a wife, mum of 3 and homemaker.
